Coming Together for a Purpose: Our Day Serving Kids’ Meals Houston
Every so often, a moment reminds you why community matters—and this weekend was one of those moments for our entire PrimePointe family. We had the honor of joining Kids’ Meals Houston, a nonprofit committed to ending childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals to preschool-aged children living in food insecurity.
What began as a simple idea—gather friends, family, agents, and industry partners to give back—turned into something far bigger than we expected. Through everyone’s generosity, we were able to donate over 37 boxes of food to support Kids’ Meals and the families they serve.
But the real story isn’t the number of boxes. It’s the people who showed up. It’s the hearts behind the donations. It’s the reminder that helping others is a privilege, not a task.
A Community Effort That Became Something Special
We are incredibly grateful for the people who poured their time and kindness into this event. It truly takes a village—and we are lucky to have one.
Our Family
Thank you to Danna Mendez, Kathy Sanchez, Patricia Broyles, and A.J. Sanchez for showing up and supporting this cause with open hearts. Your presence made the day even more meaningful.
Industry Partners Who Feel More Like Family
Huge appreciation to Carrie Panacek and Angelica Crawford, who not only supported the event but helped bring even more helpers into the fold.
A special thank-you to Carrie’s son, Dalton, for jumping in with enthusiasm.
And a heartfelt thank-you to Angelica’s husband and mother-in-law for joining as well—and yes, they absolutely brought their A-game with the decorated meal bags. They definitely kept us on our toes!
Our PrimePointe Agents & Team
We’re grateful to our agents Kyle Fitch and David Miranda for donating even though they couldn’t attend.
And we are especially thankful for our team members Kelly Flynn, Ana Iragorri, Jasmine Jones, and Cassie Cartier, who showed up, smiled through every moment, and embraced the joy of giving back.
Thank You to Our Hosts
We couldn’t have done this without two incredible partners:
-
Social Tea, for offering a beautiful space to gather and prepare donations
-
Soirée Event Venue, for helping bring everyone together and making the event feel special
Your support made the entire experience seamless and welcoming.
Why This Day Meant So Much
Volunteering with Kids’ Meals wasn’t about our company or recognition. It wasn’t a marketing project. It wasn’t for likes or visibility.
It was about:
-
Showing up for children who need us
-
Working together with people we care about
-
Remembering how fortunate we are
-
Letting service unite us
-
Choosing purpose over convenience
In a world that moves fast, slowing down to help others reminds us what really matters—compassion, connection, and community.
A Gentle Reminder: Giving Back Doesn’t Have to Be Big to Be Meaningful
If you’ve ever thought about helping but weren’t sure where to start, Kids’ Meals Houston is an amazing place to begin. Even one small donation or one hour of service can change a child’s day.
Whether it’s Kids’ Meals or another cause close to your heart, we encourage you to find a way—big or small—to give back. Acts of kindness have a way of multiplying far beyond what we see.
Closing Thoughts
We left this event feeling grateful, humbled, and inspired.
We’re thankful for every person who showed up, donated, decorated bags, loaded boxes, or simply shared encouraging words.
This wasn’t a PrimePointe event—it was a community movement, made possible by the people who surround us every day.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day unforgettable.
Let’s continue finding ways to uplift our community, together. 💛
